This lists the records of christenings[C], marriages[M] and burials[B] of Huncote people which can be found at the Record Office for Leicestershire, Leicester and Rutland. The dates for which banns are held are shown in brackets after the marriage dates. Bishop's Transcripts [BTs] are contemporary copies which are also shown. It also provides information about burials and cremations outside the parish church. Because Huncote is part of the parish of Narborough, records of Huncote ceremonies are to be found under Narborough before 1898.

In 1898, St. James' church was built in Huncote and the registers for the period after 1898 are still held there. There is no churchyard at St. James' church but there is a civic cemetery on Forest Road, Huncote and the records are available on request from the Parish Clerk.
The nearest Crematorium is at Gilroes Cemetery, Groby Road, Leicester LE3 9QG. There are records from 1902 and searches can be made in person or by request at Leicester City Council, New Walk Centre, Welford Place, Leicester LE1 6ZG. There is a charge.
